My objective is capturing the light of the outdoor moment in places I love to paint. Early mornings and late afternoons, when the colors are vivid, I set up my easel and enjoy a peaceful time alone or sometimes with painter friends, and transferring my love for nature onto the canvas. I'm drawn naturally several times each summer to places like the region of Charlevoix, Kamouraska, and Monhegan Maine, making them my second home.
In winter I spend most of my time drawing, painting people, and studying art and in some cases actually paint in extreme weather.
I never cease to learn new ways, new materials, and new levels of art., almost to the point now of doing it my way I have now discovered what I
want to do most, that is paint paint paint!!!! So I will see you in the field!
